Wednesday, 15 May, at 1:30 AM, some 8 hours into the Santa Monica City Council meeting and after over 100 people spoke in favor, they passed a resolution calling for a bilateral ceasefire in Gaza, a project that J4P-LA and our allies have worked on for many weeks. Our efforts finally came to fruition.
